The North American Grappling Association (NAGA) is the world’s largest mixed grappling tournament circuit with over 200,000 competitors worldwide. On Saturday, July 6, 2013, NAGA returns to Walt Disney World (Orlando, FL) with its annual NAGA U.S. Open Grappling Championship No-Gi & Gi tournament. The NAGA grappling competition is part of the U.S. Open Martial Arts Festival and will have its own dedicated area, the Fiesta Ballroom. This event is open to all grappling styles and competitors. WEIGH-IN OPTIONS FOR COMPETITORS

NAGA is offering all competitors the option of registering and weighing-in FRIDAY NIGHT at the venue.  On Friday, weigh-ins and registration will start at 6 PM and continue until 8 PM sharp.  The Friday weigh-in/registration will be open to all competitors regardless if you pre-registered or not.  Adults, please have a photo ID on hand when weighing in.  Children & Teens do not need to have an ID.  If you are not able to weigh in on Friday, you can still weigh in on Saturday.  Doors open at 8 AM Saturday, and weigh in is open throughout the day.  If you have questions, call NAGA at 860-295-0403.

SATURDAY DIVISION SCHEDULE (Doors open 8 AM)

CHILDREN & TEENS (17yrs & under) NO-GI & GI COMPETITION – Doors open 8 AM

10 AM – All children & teens must be weighed in and be ready to compete by 10 AM Sharp.

ADULT NO-GI & GI COMPETITION (times are just estimates)

All Women, Executive & Director Divisions start at approximately 12:30 PM

All Adult & Master Novice Divisions start at approximately 1:00 PM
NAGA has an improved method for bracketing the Adult & Master No-Gi & Gi Divisions.  The intent is to have all divisions take place as quickly as possible utilizing all rings at once.
