KIDS/TEEN/ADULTS TOURNAMENT (Open to Public) 

“Everyone who is looking to become a Jiu-Jitsu professional one day, or wants to help Jiu-Jitsu become a genuine professional sport, should help me spread the word. Tons of events come thru Florida, however, they do little to help grow the sport. These tournaments collect their dues from teams and students and don’t put their fair share back into the sport. If you see yourself fighting in an event that is prestigious, but you find that this event is treating the athletes at the top of the sport without the respect they have earned, you are doing yourself, your team, your students, and the art you love an injustice. Yes, I am talking to you, lots of you know who you are. Competition growth has been tremendous in the last few years, but, for example, how many people still think you do Karate on your Facebook? Or gym owners, how many people still enter your dojo asking for Kung Fu? Jiu-Jitsu is the most dominant martial art in the world, and that’s been proven at the highest levels of mixed martial arts. I want to take Jiu-Jitsu to that next level and make it a sport where athletes can make a living, but that requires all of us to support each other to grow the sport. Join me with a movement to help the future of Jiu-Jitsu have brighter days ahead. Major League Jiu Jitsu is it. I have competed in the biggest events the world has had to offer, and I know what’s good for the sport, what’s bad for the sport, what’s worth it keeping, and the changes that need to happen to change the current status of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
