Coach Jose, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Instructor
Jose Pagan is a Brow Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He holds a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Florida International University, and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois; graduating Magna Cum Lade. He served as a full-time Pastor for 15 years working with at risk teenagers across Broward and Dade county, and has most recently shifted his passion for people to work as a contractor for the Department of Defense serving the military, their families, and government forces. Jiu-Jitsu has had a grand impact on Jose’s life, in that his entire family trains and has discovered a community of embrace, growth, challenge, and honor. If not obsessively studying Jiu-Jitsu, and training day in day out, Jose enjoys playing guitar, prayer, and time with his wife of 18 years and two children.
